Harrisburg PSECU banke employee possibly exposed to coronavirus
HARRISBURG, Pa. — PSECU headquarters in Harrisburg is taking precautions after an employee had been in contact with a person who recently traveled to Italy and may have been exposed to the coronavirus.
In a press release obtain from the Department of Health PSECU said it understands the individual who traveled to Italy was tested for the virus and is not being quarantined.
Officials said the PSECU employee has not exhibited any symptoms of the virus, and there is no reason to believe that this person has been exposed. However, as a cautionary measure, the employee will remain at home until the individual who was potentially exposed has been cleared.
PSECU also said the following:
To address the situation, we immediately reached out to the PA Health Line for direction and protocols. In addition, to safeguard our employees, we have heightened our cleaning and disinfection efforts in areas visited by the employee and have distributed hand sanitizer throughout the building.
We take seriously the health and well-being of our employees and the greater community and will take additional actions, if needed.
